Alexandra Cross, Phone English Teacher

Hello, my name is Alexandra Cross, but most people call me Alex. I am English and was born in a place called Chichester in England. I am a dog lover and enjoy traveling and watching films and theatre.

I now live in Guadalajara in Mexico. I trained as a Secondary School History teacher and taught in a Secondary School in England for 3 years before I came to Mexico City to be Head of History and English teacher in The Edron Academy. I met my husband in DF and soon after we married, we were moved to Guadalajara with his work. Nowadays, I find that I am teaching more and more English. I teach children every day in a school and spend the other hours of the afternoon with a variety of students who want to learn English for a number of different reasons. 

I believe that learning English should be fun. It’s great to see students enjoying lessons and learning English, and after all, that’s what my job is all about!
