The awards, called the Oscars of ELT, celebrate the best, new English learning and teaching developments. Nominees from all over the world were invited onto the red carpet at the start of the evening where William and Louisa were interviewed live over the internet about their app.

The app was 1 of 7 short listed in the digital innovation category and although it did not go on to win, Louisa was very proud to be recognised by the British Council:

” The British council liked our app and that is  a wonderful endorsement of the quality, design and functionality. It was also great to discover other new developments  in our industry, ‘  said Louisa after the event.
