Hello, my name’s Julie and I teach here at Phone English.
Some years ago I took a TEFL course in London and later trained as a school teacher. I have been teaching ever since in a range of educational settings. I have taught people from 3 – 55+ in classes, groups and one to one both in England and overseas. I particularly enjoy teaching one to one as it means I can focus on a student’s particular needs and watch them develop their language skills.
I love meeting people from different countries and cultures because everyone has an interesting story to tell. I enjoy travelling and some of my favourite countries are in the east of Europe, Russia and Asia. Currently, I live in a rural area in the southwest of England. Teaching with Phone English means that I can continue to meet and teach people from all over the world.
At home, I like to garden and do craft activities.
